We've been across the pond and around the block

Ever since we were the new bank in London back in 1690, Barclays has been bringing people closer to their financial goals with industry-leading innovations. Through it all, we’ve made it our business to put our customers first and move them forward. It’s that spirit that continues to inspire what we do today.

We first began serving consumers as Barclaycard, the credit card that rocked the UK over 50 years ago. Today, we partner with some of the most successful travel, entertainment, retail and affinity institutions in the U.S.
