Celebrating 20 Years of
Progress and Partnership
with Frontier Airlines

This year marks the 20th anniversary of our co-branded credit card partnership with Frontier Airlines. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved together over the past two decades and how we’ve continuously delivered value to our credit card and loyalty program members.

The power of our partnership is rooted in strategic alignment at all levels of our respective companies, collaboration, and a relentless focus on creating great products and experiences for our customers. We also share a commitment to excellence and innovation, as evidenced by the accolades we’ve received over the years, which most recently includes the FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard® being named the Best Airline Credit Card for budget travel by Money.com.

Delivering more value and flexibility to cardmembers
Across both our consumer and investment bank, we’re proud to support Frontier’s growth and expansion, as they strive to deliver on their mission of providing affordable travel across America.

We recently held a joint ideation session that resulted in us finding ways to enhance the credit card rewards program and unlock additional value for cardmembers. Our collaboration also strategically increased brand loyalty and expanded growth opportunities for Frontier. The teams accomplished this goal while keeping in mind Frontier cardmembers’ top priority and focus for flying, learned through their extensive research: to connect with family and friends.

Supporting sustainability efforts
Frontier’s commitment to integrating sustainability into its operations – from its investment in fuel-efficient technology, to inflight changes that lighten Frontier planes and reduce waste – align with Barclays’ own efforts to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

As of December 2023, Frontier’s fleet was the most fuel-efficient of all major US airline carriers and named America’s Greenest Airline by aviation analysts. Threatened and endangered animal species are featured on Frontier’s planes, as well as the recycled plastic credit cards we issue.

We continue to collaborate with Frontier on programs that align with our shared value of stewardship – leaving things better than we found them, while also offering consumers more options that build loyalty for the Frontier brand and support our partner-first strategy.

Continuous innovation and collaboration
We continue to embrace the change around us, from within the airline industry to the broader economy, and see this as an opportunity to stand out by delivering more value and benefits to our mutual customers.

Today, we recognize and celebrate our collective teams’ hard work, passion, and achievements over the past 20 years. More importantly, we look forward to harnessing the power of partnership to keep pace with changes in the marketplace and create rewarding experiences for our cardmembers for years to come.
