In August, Barclays will become the exclusive issuer of the GM Rewards Mastercard® and the GM Business Mastercard®. GM Credit Card accounts will automatically be transitioned to Barclays, as long as accounts are in an eligible status. Until accounts are transitioned to Barclays, you can continue using your current GM Credit Card(s).

Barclays will be sending new card(s) in mid-August. You can activate and begin using your new GM Rewards Mastercard® or GM Business Mastercard® from Barclays after 6:00 am ET on August 25, 2025.

GM Rewards Mastercard® Benefits

  • Earn up to 10x on GM purchases

    That’s 7x points for every $1 spent on eligible GM purchases when you use your new GM Rewards Mastercard®, Plus, up to 3x for being a GM Rewards Member.1

  • Earn 3x on everything else

  • Now you can share your points

    with other GM Rewards Members. Help a Family member buy their first car.1

    Enjoy a low promotional APR for 6 months on qualifying GM purchases over $499 when you use your GM Rewards Mastercard®.
     

    After that, a variable Purchase APR will apply. This APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.2

GM Business Mastercard® Benefits
